If you have been charged with a federal crime, you need a lawyer who is thorough, who has a reputation as a tough negotiator and who will fight for you every step of the way to get you the best possible results in your case. You need a lawyer who values your rights as a client above all else.
My name is Steven D. West, and I am that lawyer. From my office in Tucson, I argue federal cases for clients who are facing trial at the U.S. District Court in Tucson, as well as appeals to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. If you have been charged with a federal crime, call my office at (520) 623-4387 or contact me online for a free initial consultation.
If I am representing you, I will be with you from the start of your case to the finish. I can represent you at your bond hearing, preliminary hearing, and arraignment to determine your bonding and release conditions. From there, I will take your case through any pre-trial motions and then on to litigating your trial.
It is rare for federal charges to go to trial, but the prospect of doing so provides the defense with an advantage in negotiations. Lawyers with a reputation for only pleading their cases don’t have this advantage. I do. My reputation is that of a litigator, and the United States Attorneys I work with know this.
“The Constitution is not neutral. It was designed to take the government off the backs of people.”
Justice William O. Douglas
