If you are facing criminal charges, it is important to know your rights. You have the right to remain silent, you have the right to a jury trial and you have the right to a proper defense.
Defending those rights is why I became a criminal defense lawyer. From my Tucson, Arizona office, I provide skilled and adept legal representation to clients charged with a range of crimes, from misdemeanors to murder.
Since 1984, I have been obtaining successful resolutions for clients in a variety of cases, many high profile, involving murder and possible death penalty sentences. In the three death penalty trials I have been involved in, all three ended with a non-death penalty sentence for my clients. In another trial, I represented the accused “Kahala slasher.” In that case, I obtained a verdict for a lesser included offense which saved him from a life sentence.
Throughout my career as an attorney, I have taken an intellectual approach to every case. I thoroughly investigate all of the facts, gaining the perspective I need to advise my clients on how best to proceed.
One of my responsibilities as your attorney is to keep you well-informed of any decisions that you will have to make throughout the process of your case, from pre-trial motions to litigation.
“A right to jury trial is granted to criminal defendants in order to prevent oppression by the Government.”
Justice Byron White
